The British School of Osteopathy has led the development of osteopathic education and practice in the UK since 1917, producing leaders in the field and driving forward standards.

The British School of Osteopathy is accredited by the General Osteopathic Council. The Bachelor of Osteopathy degree is validated by the University of Luton. The Access to Osteopathic Health Care course is run jointly with Southwark College and validated by the London Open College Network.

The BSO offers a full programme of qualifications and training. In addition to the Bachelor of Osteopathy we offer the Access course, a one year course for those who do not have the necessary academic background and Foundation Phase Units, which are short science courses to help you prepare for the B.Ost. We also offer a range of postgraduate and professional development courses.  

The BSO’s Bachelor of Osteopathy degree has Recognised Qualification status which enables graduates to apply for registration with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC). It is not possible to practise as an osteopath in the UK without registering with the GOsC.
